Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to maintain, optimize, and secure our database systems. The primary responsibility will be managing and supporting multiple SQL Server instances, with occasional involvement in PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting, along with a proactive approach to ensuring data integrity and availability.

1- SQL Server Management:

• Install, configure, and maintain multiple SQL Server instances.
• Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize queries.
• Implement and manage backups, recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
• Perform database migrations, upgrades, and patching.
• Manage security, user access, and permissions.

2- PostgreSQL and MongoDB Support:

• Provide occasional support for PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.
• Assist with performance tuning, backups, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure optimal database design and integration.

3- Database Optimization

• Ensure databases comply with security policies and industry standards.
• Implement encryption, auditing, and access controls.
• Regularly review and update security measures

4- Automation and Documentation:

• Automate routine database tasks using scripts and tools.
• Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures.

5- Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to support database-related needs.
• Provide on-call support for critical database issues as needed.
