Job Description
- Estimate Preparation: Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for MEP and Civil components of construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Project Review: Review project drawings, specifications, and documents to understand the scope of work and identify any changes or discrepancies.
- Cost Analysis: Analyze project cost data and provide value engineering solutionist optimize cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Vendor/Contractor Management: Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain accurate quotations and ensure all costs are accounted for in the estimate.
- Tender Submissions: Prepare and review tender documents, including cost breakdowns, risk analysis, and bid submission, ensuring all required information is included for successful project bids.
- Site Visits: Attend site visits and liaise with the project team to assess project progress and any changes to scope that may impact cost estimation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the project management and engineering teams to understand project goals and constraints and support them in making informed decisions.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on the status of estimates and budgets to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all estimates comply with relevant standards, regulations, and company policies.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years ofproven experience in estimation within the construction industry, specifically on mega projects.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and civil estimation processes. Familiarity with construction estimation software and tools.
- Project Management Skills: Strong abilityto manage multipleestimates and projectssimultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to management and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Location: The candidate must be willing to work in Riyadh and join immediately.
- Language: Proficiency in Arabic& English
