Job Description
- Determine fixed costs in addition to planning and recording variable costs.
- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.
- Analyze and report cost margins by activity and segment.
- Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions and cost savings.
- Develop and maintain the organization's cost accounting system, documents, and records.
- Prepare and complete internal cost audits.
- Analyze any changes in goods or services provided that affect the cost.
- Analyze cost centers and prepare regular reports comparing standard to actual costs.
- Review cost and variance trends and research significant variations.
Job Requirements
- BSc degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant study.
- Proven 3-5 years of work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent working knowledge of computer software including Excel and ERP systems.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.
