Job Summary:
The Sales Manager will lead local sales initiatives for our factory specializing in semi-fried potatoes and frozen vegetables. This role involves crafting sales strategies, managing a team, and nurturing relationships with local retailers, distributors, and food service providers. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth, enhance brand visibility, and ensure alignment with our commitment to quality and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute sales plans to meet targets, identifying growth opportunities in supermarkets, restaurants, and specialty stores.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies.
- Set pricing and promotional strategies in collaboration with Marketing.
- Build and maintain relationships with key local clients, negotiating contracts and resolving inquiries.
- Conduct regular visits to clients to ensure satisfaction and explore upsell opportunities.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a sales team, setting clear goals and monitoring performance.
- Foster a collaborative environment and provide actionable feedback.
- Track industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor movements.
- Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and budget analyses for senior management.
- Work with Marketing on campaigns and Production to ensure inventory meets demand.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years in sales management, preferably in FMCG/food industry.
- Proven leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and data analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of the local market.
- Experience in frozen food/vegetable sector.
- Established local network.
