- Preparing financial analyses and reports.
- Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
- Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
- Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Assisting with annual audit preparations.
- Appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
- Preparing General ledger.
- Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
- Following up on Accounts receivable and payments.
- Checking late payments, accounts and sending reminders.
- Assisting in preparing the taxation reports.
- Strong Background of Different types of Egyptian taxes laws
- Participate with the chief accountant in the semi-annual & annual closures.
- Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
- Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
- Communicating with Manager on work status and client issues that arise.
- Preparing customers’ accounts
Job Requirements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance.
- At least 10 Years of experience of which 4 Years Of proven experience as Senior Accountant.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages and ERP systems.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables.
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Tax Law in Egypt.
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
