Job Title: Audit Accountant – Legal Case Reporting

Job Overview:
Our legal firm is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Audit Accountant to be responsible for preparing accurate accounting reports related to ongoing legal cases and drafting professional responses to reports submitted by court-appointed accounting experts.
This role requires a solid background in auditing and accounting standards, as well as the ability to work closely with the legal team to understand and analyze the financial aspects of legal disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and comprehensive accounting reports related to legal cases in accordance with court requirements.
- Analyze and respond to the reports of court-appointed accounting experts, identifying any inconsistencies or accounting errors.
- Collaborate with attorneys to understand case details and relevant financial documentation.
- Extract and analyze financial data from records, accounting files, and supporting documents.
- Ensure all accounting reports comply with recognized accounting standards and local regulations.
- Provide supported financial analysis and written clarifications to reinforce legal arguments.
- Maintain organized and well-documented records of all submitted reports and responses.
- Stay up to date with developments in financial laws and accounting procedures related to litigation support.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial auditing or forensic accounting.
- Previous experience working with law firms or within judicial proceedings is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS or local standards), audit methodologies, and financial reporting.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and produce clear, professional written reports.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is a mandatory requirement.
- High attention to detail, ability to maintain confidentiality, and commitment to professional integrity.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Background in forensic accounting or legal case support.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and court procedures.
- Experience in preparing financial affidavits or expert statements for judicial authorities.
