Job Description
- Manage daily banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers for company accounts.
- Reconcile bank statements with company financial records to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and process payments, including vendor invoices, payroll, and other disbursements.
- Monitor cash flow and maintain optimal balances across multiple bank accounts.
- Coordinate with banks to manage letters of credit, guarantees, and other financial instruments.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes by providing accurate bank-related data.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all banking activities and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Assist in preparing financial reports related to banking operations for management review.
- Liaise with auditors during financial audits and provide necessary banking documentation.
- Stay updated on banking regulations and best practices relevant to the construction and real estate sector.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a bank accountant or in a similar financial role.
- Strong understanding of banking procedures, reconciliation, and cash management.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the construction or real estate industry is an advantage.
