Job Description
- Manage daily bank transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, ensuring all entries are accurately recorded.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of all banking activities and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Coordinate with internal departments to process payments, manage cash flow, and support financial planning.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to banking operations.
- Liaise with banking institutions to resolve issues, facilitate transactions, and maintain positive relationships.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to bank accounts and transactions.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
- Analyze banking fees and recommend cost-saving measures where applicable.
- Stay updated on banking regulations and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a bank accounting or related financial role.
- Proven ability to manage multiple bank accounts and reconcile statements accurately.
- Strong understanding of banking procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
