Job Description
- Install elevators, escalators, and moving walkways according to specifications and blueprints.
- Conduct pre-installation site assessments to ensure readiness and compliance with safety regulations.
- Assemble and install elevator components, including motors, controllers, cables, and doors.
- Test and troubleshoot installed systems to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Maintain accurate records of installation processes and prepare reports.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during installation.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members.
- Stay updated with advancements in elevator technology and industry trends.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in elevator installation or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
