Job Description
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the finance department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to support organizational objectives.
- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial insights.
- Evaluate and manage financial risks, implementing effective controls and mitigation strategies.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Job Requirements
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Proven track record in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Experience in managing audits and liaising with external auditors.
- Ability to work effectively in an open-office environment and collaborate across departments.
