Job Description

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the finance department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to support organizational objectives.
  • Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial insights.
  • Evaluate and manage financial risks, implementing effective controls and mitigation strategies.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Job Requirements

  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Proven track record in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Experience in managing audits and liaising with external auditors.
  • Ability to work effectively in an open-office environment and collaborate across departments.
