Job Description

Job Summary:

The Firefighting Supervisor will oversee the operations and maintenance of firefighting equipment in Egypt and ensure reaching the sales target. This role involves ensuring the effective functioning of equipment, managing a team, and maintaining compliance with safety standards. The Supervisor will also be responsible for client support and developing relationships within the firefighting sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Management:
    • Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of firefighting equipment.
    • Ensure equipment is maintained according to manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.
    • Ensure achieving sales target with the highest customer satisfaction. 
  2. Team Leadership:
    • Lead and manage a team of technicians and support staff.
    • Provide training and guidance on equipment handling, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
  3. Client Support:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding equipment issues and service requests.
    • Ensure timely response to client inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  4. Compliance & Safety:
    • Ensure all operations comply with local safety regulations and standards.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of equipment and procedures.
  5. Reporting:
  • Provide regular reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and client feedback to the Department Manager.
  • Document all service activities and maintain accurate records.

Job Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the firefighting equipment sector, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
    • Proven experience with firefighting pumps and equipment maintenance.
    • Track record in achieving the target sales. 
    • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in Egypt.
  • Skills:
    • Firefighting certifications are mandatory. 
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent technical knowledge of firefighting equipment.
    • Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Effective communication and customer service skills.
