Job Description
- Design, implement, and commission Building Management Systems (BMS) for commercial and industrial facilities.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades on BMS hardware and software.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure BMS solutions meet project requirements and customer expectations.
- Develop and review technical documentation, including system architecture, wiring diagrams, and operation manuals.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine BMS requirements and recommend optimal solutions.
- Integrate BMS with other building automation systems such as HVAC, lighting, and security.
- Monitor system performance and generate reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams on BMS operation and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality policies.
- Assist in the calibration and validation of BMS components to maintain system accuracy and reliability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in BMS engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with BMS hardware, software, and communication protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work onsite and travel to client locations as required.
- Proficiency in using engineering tools and software relevant to BMS design and implementation.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
