Review, Update and follow up on food safety system and make recommendations for improvement
Liaise and follow up with NFSA to ensure company is registered on the NFSA white list
Ensure compliance with ISO 22000 requirements
Train Staff on food safety and quality assurance requirements
Receive goods and supplies and conduct quality checks.
Audit suppliers to ensure their compliance with food safety requirements.
Be the main focal point for quality checks conducted by clients
Address and discuss issues and proposed solutions with superiors
Document quality assurance activities and create audit reports
Create training materials and operating manuals

Proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role in the food industry
Working knowledge of tools, methods and concepts of quality assurance
Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory standards
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent data collection and analysis skills
Strong attention to detail
Relevant training and/or certifications as a Quality Assurance Specialist
