Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, programming, and implementation of automation solutions for industrial equipment and systems. This includes PLC and HMI programming, preparing and reviewing electrical drawings, and overseeing commissioning and start-up activities at customer sites. The role requires close collaboration with project managers, sales engineers, and customers to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and implement PLC and HMI programs (Siemens).
- Design and draft electrical control schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
- Support project planning by providing technical input on automation solutions.
- Perform commissioning, troubleshooting, and start-up of automation systems at customer sites.
- Ensure system functionality and compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Provide technical documentation, operation manuals, and training to clients.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
- Experience: 2–5 years in industrial automation, PLC/HMI programming, and electrical design.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of PLCs (Siemens).
- Proficiency in HMI/SCADA development.
- Experience with EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar drafting tools.
- Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in commissioning and troubleshooting automation systems.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
