Job Description
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including: month and end-year process accounts payable/receivable cash receipts general ledger payroll and utilities treasury, budgeting cash forecasting revenue and expenditure variance analysis capital assets reconciliations trust account statement reconciliations, check runs fixed asset activity debt activity
- Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial reports.
- Manage daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Develop and implement effective accounting strategies tailored to the restaurant industry.
- Supervise budgets, and monitor costs and revenues.
- Ensure compliance with financial and tax policies and procedures.
- Provide financial advice to senior management to support decision-making.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting, with proven experience in restaurant accounting.
- Deep knowledge of accounting systems and software.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Professional accounting certification (such as CPA or CMA) is a plus.
