Middle School High School Doha Date Posted: 03/09/2023 We are looking to recruit a passionate and dedicated French Teacher in our Middle & High School Division to join ACS International School Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for instructing students at various levels, fostering a positive learning environment and contributing to the overall academic success of our students.
Reporting to: Head of World Languages
Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching experience.

Requirements:

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, French or a related field Teaching Qualification or licensure in French Language Education. Experience teaching French in an international school preferred IB(MYP, DP)

Knowledge and Skills

Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse student needs. Strong knowledge of French literature and history. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities :
Plan and deliver well-structures lessons that align with curriculum standards and educational goals. Teach French language skills including listening, speaking, reading and writing. Develop and implement creative teaching methods to engage students and enhance language learning. Utilize a variety of resources, including textbooks, multimedia materials and online tools to enhance the learning experience. Assess students progress through assignments, exams and projects, providing timlmely feedback and guidance. Participate in parent- teacher meetings to discuss student progress and provide recommndations for improvement. * Provide additional support to students who need extra assistance in mastering the language.
