Job summary
The Corporate Accounting Manager will lead and support the Corporate Accounting team in ensuring the accuracy, organization, and secure digital archiving of all financial records.
This role will oversee the analysis and consolidation of SAP databases and related files to build and maintain a robust, centralized accounting database, while ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
The role will also assist the Accounting Director in delivering high-quality financial accounting services to internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Lead the preparation, analysis, and verification of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Ensure all prior year physical documents are reviewed to identify any missing transactions / documents not currently available in digital form.
Ensure any identified missing transaction documents, bank statements, broker statement, reconciliations and other accounting and financial records are properly arranged, tabulated, scanned and uploaded in digital form and properly archived
Manage the planning and execution of internal & External audits, and support external audit processes related to special projects
Work closely with external auditors, inspectors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with statutory and corporate requirements and providing the necessary documentation
Oversee and guide a small accounting team, providing mentorship and ensuring professional development.
Prepare high-quality financial reports and analyses to inform senior management and stakeholders.
Analyze historical financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of accounts in SAP ERP system & Develop report as needed
Collaborate with operations and other departments to align financial reporting with manufacturing business processes.
Contribute to risk management, governance, and process improvement initiatives.
