Job Purpose

Will be responsible for managing both on-premises and cloud infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of Windows and Linux servers, overseeing Active Directory and SharePoint-based file servers, leading server management projects, including migrations, and managing Veeam backup solutions. You will also handle automated deployments using tools like Server Monkey. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure and efficient IT environment that aligns with the organization's strategic goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Cloud Management: Manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as Azure.
• Provision, configure, monitor, and optimize cloud servers to meet business requirements.
• On-Premises Management: Maintain and support on-premises servers, ensuring consistent uptime, performance, and security. Perform system updates, patch management, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
• Veeam Backup Management: Administer Veeam Backup & Replication solutions for both on-premises and cloud environments. Monitor and verify backups, ensure data integrity, and perform restore operations as needed. Design and implement backup strategies, including disaster recovery plans.
• Server Migration: Plan and execute server migration projects, including migrating on-premises infrastructure to the cloud, upgrading server versions, and transitioning systems to new environments.
• Automated Server Deployment: Use tools like Server Monkey to automate and streamline server deployment processes, ensuring consistency, scalability, and speed in provisioning new servers across various environments.
• Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices across both cloud and on-premises servers, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance, proactively address issues, and troubleshoot complex server problems across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Administer and maintain Linux servers, ensuring they meet performance and security standards.
• Automate routine system administration tasks and deploy updates across Linux environments.
• Monitor system logs and address security vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks.
• Manage and support the organization's Active Directory infrastructure, including user accounts, groups, policies, and security settings.
• Implement and maintain Group Policies to enforce security measures and control user environments.
• Manage file storage and sharing systems using SharePoint, ensuring data security and accessibility.
• Set up and maintain user permissions, manage shared files, and ensure compliance with data protection policies.
• Monitor and maintain SharePoint infrastructure, applying updates and patches as necessary.
• Ensure Active Directory replication, domain controller availability, and overall system health.
