Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mapping and Tariff Officer located in Cairo, Egypt. The Mapping and Tariff Officer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to mapping healthcare benefits, managing tariffs, and ensuring accurate data processing. The role requires close collaboration with insurance companies, providers, and internal teams to optimize healthcare benefits management services.
Job Requirements
- Applying the newly agreed price list onto the system
- Creating new schedules for new providers /modifying a current schedule (applying the contractual discount) based on a new contract or modifying previous agreement. Price list or contractual discount could be based on special agreements (per class/per group/per insurance company)
- Preparing the benchmark tariff list for reimbursement process (outpatient)
- Mapping provider’s price list to the GMS universal list (CPT), (including inpatient)
- Replying to the daily e-mails received from processing unit for unmapped items (inpatient)
- Replying to e-mails received from approval unit regarding adding new items procedures, and this process need to contact the provider for further negotiation of the price
