Job Description
- Ensure that the designs, studies, and surveys are appropriate and meet the expected levels of technical excellence, also responsible for maintaining complete information of the lighting database system.
- Reviews work produced by subordinates to ensure that applicable codes, standards, and procedures are followed, ensures that the quality of procured items meets or exceeds requirements, and performs cost analysis.
- Guide and manage team member and improve their design skills.
- Responsible for design team member output and project deadlines.
- Measure and evaluate team members' performance by the KPI system.
- Coordinate with the different company departments (Sales – Technical) to achieve company objectives.
- Implement & simulate lighting design concepts for various commercial, corporate, and residential projects, considering lux levels for the space & performing daylight calculations in addition to, considering the cost-effectiveness and energy efficiency of running and maintaining the lights.
- Maintain up-to-date lighting trends.
- Oversee the design activities including quotations and lighting design.
- Generate and submit reports to the general manager and support him in strategic decisions.
- Develop our long-term organization strategy.
- identifying the types of reports required from team members and reviewing them
- Providing guidance, support, and training to employees under his management to ensure the implementation of the company's system.
- Sending the required training needs annually to the human resources department and participating in developing the training plan.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering [Architectural].
• From 4-7 years’ experience.
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office and Outlook)
• Proficiency with Dialux EVO and 3D rendering software (Lumion or 3D max).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Create Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Have experience in developing and driving distribution plans to achieve growth.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Preferably near New Cairo
