Job Description
- To undertake the development and maintenance of Data Quality Stored Procedures, Views, Dashboards & reports. The candidate will take requirements from client and write complex sql queries/stored procedures/views for identification of Data Quality issues. The candidate should have experience with Data Profiling, investigation and Issues reporting. The candidate should possess knowledge of IBM data stage, for development of new jobs. The candidate should be able to create end to end design and ensure timely delivery of respective components. Proficient in creating complex SQL queries and able to create/maintain views.
- Experience of working in data warehousing domain and knowledge of CLDM is a plus. Strong work ethic, Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple (including virtual) teams.
- Ability to develop complex SQL in Teradata.
- Should have good knowledge on Telecom Domain.
- Performing statistical tests on large datasets to determine data quality and integrity.
- Evaluating system performance and design, as well as its effect on data quality.
- Collaborating with database developers to improve data collection and storage processes.
- Running data queries to identify coding issues and data exceptions, as well as cleaning data.
- Gathering data from primary or secondary data sources to identify and interpret trends.
Job Requirements
- Experienced in Creating Stored Procedures, Views.
- Experience with Data Profiling tool. (Knowledge of IDQ Is +)
- Should have up to 4 years’ experience on Teradata.
- Experienced with IBM Data Stage. Should be able to create data stage jobs, scheduling and end to end design.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate and document
- processes and workflows for use by various individuals of varying technical abilities.
