Job Description

 

  • Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy from materials to finished products released ready for sales.
  • Participate in new product selection and evaluation. 
  • Assist in all regulatory issues related to supply chain.
  • Assist in developing company international business strategy  
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Regulatory & Administration. 
  • Develop material costs forecasts or standard cost lists.
  • Manage purchasing cycle.
  • Responsible of inventory control.
  • Suggest solutions for process improvements.
  • Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner.
  • Work with finance, sales, and regulatory team to determine best vendors and distributors
  • Build and maintain good relationships with vendors & manufacturers.
  •  Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
  • Appraise vendor manufacturing ability through on-site visits and measurements.
  • Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.
  • Meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, to provide performance feedback.
  • Develop, implement & Update procedures or systems to evaluate or select suppliers & keep all Venders / Manufacturers records. 
  • Analyze information about supplier performance or procurement program success.
  • Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
  • Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows.
  • Design or implement plant warehousing strategies for production materials or finished products.
  • Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, or receiving.

Job Requirements

  • Previous working experience in Supply Chain or similar position for 1-2 years.
  • Hands on experience with supply chain management software (such as ODOO, SAP MM, AP Modules, SAP Plant Maintenance, etc.)
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player.
  • Good time-management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • BSc. in Pharmaceuticals.
