- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide meaningful. timely feedback.
- Define, design and perform quality tests to identify problems, provide solutions and/or recommendations for improvement, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Troubleshoot problems or errors in the item provided for testing, report defects, and manage and track the bugs fixing cycle till closure.
- Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts.
- Generate detailed reports on application status and quality per iteration.
- Create and/or update automated tests when needed, using functional test automation tools.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies.
