Job Description
Review contracts and drawings to understand the project scope and requirements for woodworks (kitchens – furniture – wooden decorations).
Prepare detailed shop drawings using design software (AutoCAD – 3D Max – SketchUp) along with accurate cut lists for manufacturing.
Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for all required raw materials (MDF – accessories – paints – veneers, etc.).
Develop technical and financial offers and follow up on approvals with consultants or clients.
Coordinate works with other disciplines (civil – electrical – finishing) to ensure project integration.
Prepare production and installation schedules and coordinate with factories/workshops to ensure execution as per drawings.
Follow up on modifications to drawings or samples and ensure approvals prior to manufacturing.
Review supplier or manufacturer drawings and ensure approval before execution.
Provide technical reports to management regarding work progress and technical challenges.
Ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards in all deliverables.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Civil Engineering.
3–6 years of experience in a technical office role within the woodworks/furniture industry.
Experience in preparing shop drawings, cut lists, and BOQs.
Knowledge of manufacturing and installation processes for woodworks.
Very good command of English (written and spoken).
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
