Job Description
AMDesigns is a leading interior design and execution firm seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Specialist.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Create and update balance sheets, profit/loss summaries, and other financial statements.
- Assist in budget planning and cost control for design and execution projects.
- Prepare and review site financial reports.
- Monitor and document site expenses.
- Prepare and follow up on project financial extracts.
- Record and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Support payroll preparation and financial documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors on payment and invoicing.
- Support audit processes and assist with end-of-month financial closing activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 2–4 years of experience in a finance role, preferably within interior design, construction, or contracting sectors.
- Solid knowledge of budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
- Experience in payroll, cash flow management, and preparing project profitability reports.
- Ability to compile and analyze site financial data, including reporting on project-level expenses and performance.
- Proven ability to track and manage on-site spending, ensuring alignment with project budgets.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial management software.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and team collaboration skills.
