Job Description
- Liaise with environmental consultants to conduct studies and secure environmental approvals for newly established clubs.
- Review and ensure compliance with environmental and health regulations for new club projects and ongoing developments.
- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of environmental records, including environmental registers and waste/material logs.
- Manage the collection, documentation, and transportation processes for hazardous waste across all club facilities.
- Monitor the quality of swimming pool water and prepare monthly reports on its condition and safety standards.
- Coordinate with external inspection bodies responsible for health and environmental audits, including swimming pool inspections and joint committees.
- Manage communications with government authorities regarding the preparation and submission of drinking water and wastewater reports.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify environmental and health violations within club premises.
- Respond to environmental and health-related incidents and emergencies, ensuring proper mitigation measures are in place.
- Track and verify the legal status and validity of documents related to environmental and health compliance.
- Conduct site visits across various clubs to implement preventive health and environmental measures.
- Review and ensure that all leased commercial outlets within club premises meet environmental and health compliance standards.
- Perform any additional tasks that might be necessary for easier workflow, within the mainframe of the job’s specialty.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (Engineering, Science, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Medicine) or an equivalent qualification.
- Advanced certification in environmental affairs is preferred (e.g., Environmental Diploma, ISO 14001 certification related to environmental protection, carbon footprint measurement).
- Min. 5 to 7 years of experience in the health affairs field.
- Preferably completed specialized training courses in environmental affairs (such as waste management, environmental impact assessments, sustainability principles, or related areas).
