Job Description
- Assist in performing, planning, and executing compliance, financial, and operational audits.
- Examine and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal controls.
- Monitor the timely implementation of all agreed-upon recommendations within the set time frame.
- Identify control weaknesses and develop appropriate recommendations.
- Assess compliance with organizational policies and procedures and adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Assist in conducting risk & compliance assessments.
- Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions.
- Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in commerce, majoring in accounting.
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and compile detailed reports
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- +4 years of experience in audit, risk management, and quality assurance.
- Preferred experience in customs clearance
