Job Description
To ensure effective control and tracking of all imported and exported items by contractors, including the accurate monitoring of remaining balances of consumables. This role involves the preparation of proper documentation required for customs and EMRA inspections and the implementation of internal controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
What You’ll Do:
- Track and maintain detailed records of all imported and exported goods handled by contractors.
- Monitor the usage and remaining balances of consumables imported for specific projects or contracts.
- Ensure all import and export activities comply with relevant customs regulations and internal procedures.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for customs inspections, including invoices, packing lists, declarations, and other supporting records.
- Liaise with Customs team to facilitate smooth and accurate clearance and custom settlements processes.
- Conduct regular audits of contractors' import/export activities and material balances to identify discrepancies or non-compliance.
- Support inventory reconciliation by verifying the actual usage of imported consumables against reported balances.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date database for tracking goods movement and compliance status.
- Report any compliance risks or issues to the Audit team and support corrective actions as needed.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of Faculty of Commerce – English Section
- 1-3 years of experience
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
