Job Description
- Design Mechanical drawings (HVAC, Firefighting-Plumbing) and coordinate with other departments.
- Revise and study the project documents including drawings, specifications, BOQ (bill of quantity), RFI (Request for information) , correspondence .. etc. to take into consideration all the project details.
- coordinate with all other trades (arch, firefighting, air duct, pluming, other MEP trades)
- Prepare Shop drawing and as-built drawings, and ensure documentation and records are reviewed, approved by the consultant (Fire Fighting, HVAC, Plumbing).
- Be able to create text placement and geometry, insert external references & blocks and import/export data from/to Excel
- All work must incorporate professional drawing standards and symbols.
- prepare all required calculation and achieve required approvals
- Conduct site visits to inspect and assess the progress and quality of work
- Prepare technical and material submittals.
- Manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems
- prepare purchasing orders and negotiate with suppliers to reach the most appropriate prices.
- Prepare the subcontractors’ and client’s invoices based on the progress report sent by the site engineer.
- Prepare and follow up the Variation Orders.
- Prepare a monthly procurement and financial plan to determine the site needs for the upcoming month.
Job Requirements
- 6 years’ experience in same field design field preferably working with Saudi projects.
- University degree in mechanical Power engineering.
- Excellent knowledge of International/Local codes and standards.
- good command of English Language (written & spoken).
- Excellent Microsoft Office user.
- Multitask and ability to work under pressure.
- Good adaptability & team work skills.
- good communication skills.
