Job Description
- Responsible for managing and writing server-side web application logic mainly in Drupel and the interchange of data between the server and the users.
- Focus on the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database.
Ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. - Responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application.
- A basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in development in the latest Web Based frameworks (Laravel, Yii2) and technologies including Drupal 8, PHP, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Must have a high-level understanding of Drupal development patterns, custom module development, and third-party integrations.
- Must be well-versed in advanced Drupal development models, object-oriented PHP, and third-party integrations with Services. Experience with D7-D8 migrations is a plus.
- Drupal specialization (i.e., not surface-level Drupal experience augmented by knowledge from other CMS applications).
- Ability to develop new modules and edit existing ones.
- Proficient in the maintenance and administration of Drupal modules and sites.
- Experience with object-oriented approaches and working knowledge of MVC framework, Service Layer/Integration Platform such as WebMethod, and Communications/Customer Engagement platforms.
- Experience with HTML, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery, and AJAX
- Experience with MySQL database design and integration.
- Experience with Object-oriented programming and computer science foundations
- Knowledge of design patterns and computer algorithms
- Strong problem-solving ability, critical thinking skills, creative/innovative thinking
- Experience with version control systems such as Git, TFS
- Strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems.
