Costing Section Head

A leading company in the paints industry, located in Shubra El-Khaima, in need of a costing section head, with these responsibilities:

1. Submit reports analyzing all Raw material costs.
2. Review production batches and inventory transactions along with closing reports from operations teams.
3. Collect and analyze all information necessary to determine the cost of all the company's products.
4. Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare costing reports.
5. Compare planned costs to actual production costs and report all variances.
6. Maintain Fixed assets report and depreciation analysis.
7. Monitor the cycle count process.
8. Determine standard costs and investigate variances with actual costs
9. Prepare detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hoc
10. Support management to make important decisions based on costs and benefits (e.g. market growth, pricing changes…)
11. Create and manage budgets, and monitor spending
12. Monitor changes in processes or methods to calculate effects on overall costs
13. Estimate product costs for existing and new products
14. Forecast and analyze costs of processes, labor, and inventory
15. Suggest cost-reducing or profitable solutions
