Job Description
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of cost reports and costing audits. Identify and examine costs that are inconsistent with projected values.
- Cost control monitoring in association with LOB heads and provide monthly financial statements. ·
- Manage the monthly cost accounting closing process ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of inventory and cost of sales accounts. ·
- Prepare daily / Monthly operation reports on sales, booking costs and other key metrics ·
- Monitor all the projects and follow up their progress ·
- Prepare monthly (or more frequently, as needed) forecasts and the annual budget process. ·
- Prepare estimates of costs for unique products in order to establish prices of products and to forecast production ·
- Proper closure of financial statements for periodic audits. ·
- Follow up with Accounting team with received items to be invoices and pending invoices. ·
- Perform the monthly closing activities including preparation of the cost to operate statement along with supporting analysis team.
- Help in supporting the cost team in the development of standard costing system. ·
- Work with the Accounting Manager in development & maintenance of standard costs.
- Coaches, develops, motivates, monitors, and follows up on team members’ performance, quality, and adherence for improving productivity and skills to ensure people development and high performance. ·
- Participate in the identification and recruitment of key talents for the costing team. ·
- Lead, guide and assist direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures ·
- Set performance objectives, provide the necessary support, evaluate/appraise the team and provide regular feedback on performance
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. in Accounting ·
- 7-12 years' experience in manufacturing field .
- Knowledge in cost management concepts & Terminologies.
- Experienced in budget development and implementation.
- Excellent Microsoft user
