Job Description

  • Lead the preparation of budgets and cost applications as needed
  • Ensure all contractual compliance requirements and documents are included in each cost proposal.
  • Manage partners on proposal budgetary assistance, providing guidance and assistance as needed and reviewing their budget submissions for accuracy and completion.
  • Organize and facilitate proposal budget and cost application review sessions.
  • Review grant agreements and modifications to ensure accuracy of budget and special conditions.
  • Collaborate with the Finance department to ensure that proposal budgeting incorporates current and planned Counterpart’s pricing
  • Collaborate on special projects that would contribute to more accurate proposal budgeting
  • Work closely with Counterpart’s Finance and Compliance teams to develop templates
  • Manage and mentor junior costing and pricing staff.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with pricing under both acquisition and assistance instruments
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Supervision and management experience.
  • Must work extremely well under pressure.

Job Requirements

  • Experience minimum 10 years of progressive experience in a construction company
  • Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification in Accounting and Finance
  • Experience with team management and development
  • Demonstrated decision making 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptable, high level of attention to detail.
  • Skills in time management and task completion
  • Performs other duties relevant to the job as requested
