Job Description
- Lead the preparation of budgets and cost applications as needed
- Ensure all contractual compliance requirements and documents are included in each cost proposal.
- Manage partners on proposal budgetary assistance, providing guidance and assistance as needed and reviewing their budget submissions for accuracy and completion.
- Organize and facilitate proposal budget and cost application review sessions.
- Review grant agreements and modifications to ensure accuracy of budget and special conditions.
- Collaborate with the Finance department to ensure that proposal budgeting incorporates current and planned Counterpart’s pricing
- Collaborate on special projects that would contribute to more accurate proposal budgeting
- Work closely with Counterpart’s Finance and Compliance teams to develop templates
- Manage and mentor junior costing and pricing staff.
- Demonstrated familiarity with pricing under both acquisition and assistance instruments
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Supervision and management experience.
- Must work extremely well under pressure.
Job Requirements
- Experience minimum 10 years of progressive experience in a construction company
- Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification in Accounting and Finance
- Experience with team management and development
- Demonstrated decision making
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Adaptable, high level of attention to detail.
- Skills in time management and task completion
- Performs other duties relevant to the job as requested
