Job Description

Optimum Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and Creative Team Leader for the Media Department to oversee the production and post-production process for our video and media content. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on video editing and motion graphics expertise with leadership skills to manage a dynamic team of 4 to 5 members.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality, creativity, and visual appeal of all our media production outputs. Additionally, we would love for the successful candidate to be based in Alexandria, Egypt, to streamline the delivery of raw footage and facilitate smoother coordination with our production teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of 4-5 video editors, motion graphic designers, and content creators
  • Review, provide feedback, and enhance team members’ work to meet high-quality standards
  • Ensure deadlines are met and projects are delivered on time.

2. Content Development:

  • Oversee the development and production of media content, focusing on video post-production.
  • Produce 4+ high-quality videos per month, incorporating advanced video editing and motion graphics.
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm creative concepts for campaigns and projects.

3. Quality Assurance:

  • Revise and approve all content created by the team to ensure it aligns with the company’s vision and goals
  • Conduct final checks on all media outputs for consistency, professionalism, and creativity.

4. Visual Enhancement:

  • Work closely with the design team to enhance the visual appeal of their content through motion graphics and other creative elements
  • Suggest and implement improvements to optimize design and video content.

5. Creative Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to ensure media aligns with the brand’s identity and campaign objectives.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in video editing, motion graphics, and design to ensure cutting-edge content.

 

 

Job Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
  • Good PC skills, especially MS Excel
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Decision-making skills
  • Degree in Management or training in team leading is a plus
  • Proven experience as a video editor and motion graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership or team management role in a media or content production environment.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) and motion graphics tools (After Effects, Cinema 4D, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creative storytelling.
