Lead the material planning team in provisioning of aircraft spares & consumables (airframe, engine, cabin, IFE) and tooling whilst maintaining optimized service levels and stock turn to support operations.Accountabilities:Manage material planning functions associated with component hard time forecast, engineering orders, component retrofits and cabin surveys.Manage provisioning activities, implement stocking techniques and optimum part holding to meet department KPI.Prepare annual spend budget for spend on aircraft inventory procurement and controlling the spend adhering to the same.Develop, establish, and manage relationships with key strategic partners; internal and external such as Engineering, Planning, warehouse, OEMs and suppliers to ensure the management strategy is effectively implemented and operations are supported.Ensure optimum stock levels for rotables and consumables are maintained and updated in ERP. Develop and maintain up to date the departmental manuals (TPM) to ensure compliance with regulations and organizational requirements.Responsible for developing strategies, establishing KPI for team to achieve organization goal.Lead and develop a team to ensure internal talents are enhanced by means of coaching, mentoring and exposure to new subjects and projects.Support preparation, negotiations of business case and contracts for spare parts and tooling.Manage Audits and any ad hoc projects assigned by Senior Manager to achieve department goal.Education and ExperienceBachelors in engineering or equivalent professional qualification and minimum 10 years aviation inventory management or materials planning experience.A self-motivated, highly enthusiastic, and passionate team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
