In this role, you are expected to effectively supervise warehouse activity, ensuring all deadlines and standards are achieved in an efficient and cost-effective manner.What You Will DoYou will supervise the day-to-day operations in terms of receiving, checking, storing, picking, stock control activities, quality, health & safety, and to ensure that these functions are carried out in a timely, reliable and cost-effective mannerCoordinate inbound/outbound shipment activitiesMonitor and direct flow and/or movement of parts to ensure dock rotation and availabilityOverseeing the proper processing of daily orders, spreading workload among the warehouse personnel and directing work groups including inbound loadsEnsure thorough training/cross-training of all warehouse personnelPreparing and monitoring the methods used for unloading and loading, including proper safety handling proceduresDirecting, auditing and confirming Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) methods based on Warehouse functionEnsuring that the warehouse and outside areas are kept clean and neat, depicting a professional image at all timesThis includes assigning and delegating clean up zones as neededMaintain equipment and facilities to ensure a safe work environmentRequired Skills To Be Successful2-3 years' experience in large scale warehousing operations/ 3PL operationsDetailed understanding of operational, administrative and system processes in the warehouseWell experience in managing a teamE-commerce fulfillment experienceAbout The TeamThe role will report to the Operations Manager and you will be managing a team of 10-15 associates. You will be working in a dynamic and busy environment wherein you will be dealing directly with different stakeholders across the organization.What Equips You For The RoleThe ideal candidate will possess a Warehousing, Logistics or Supply Chain Degree with at least 2-3 years' experience in large scale warehousing, procurement, or transport operationsYou need to be a strong communicator in English and native languages of workforce.
