Water Transmission and Technologies CompanyRiyadhCompliance & Regulatory Affairs Specialist90000024Job Purpose:The job holder is responsible for contributing to the development and review of WTTCO's regulatory affairs and compliance initiatives, encompassing compliance management, identification of regulatory obligations, and raising compliance awareness.Key Activities: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of Compliance & Regulatory Affairs systems, practices, cost optimization, and productivity & efficiency improvement. Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards within WTTCO and related functions such as and not limited to (HC, HSSE, Risk, Cybersecurity, etc..). Escalate problems to ensure case/issue is closed efficiently and in a timely manner. Ensure acting as the point of contact for all external entities (regulatory, and supervisory bodies). Ensure maintaining relationships with external regulatory bodies (e.g., Water Regulator (WR) and Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, … etc.). Analyze the new regulations & bylaws and provide recommendations to the concerned stakeholders on any required changes/updates on internal bylaws, policies, forms, or tools. Conduct benchmarks studies to assess the latest trends in water transmission regulatory frameworks and their implications and recommend needed improvements. Conduct the maintenance of water regulator-related license renewals and ensure license requirements are being met in coordination with the concerned business units. Conduct licensees’ compliance with requirements, suggest needed actions, and ensure updating of licenses and registrations as needed or manage license cancellation.Education and Certifications Bachelor's Degree in Law or relevant fields
