Job Description



The CRE will perform fundamental communication tasks such as, client relations, stakeholders’ outreach, PR and reporting functions. S/he must also have strong research, communications and problem-solving skills. This will require calling on potential clients and business partners across the desired GCC and Africa markets, often being required to make pitch presentations on our services that meet or predict their clients’ future needs where it is required to strategize the fulfillment of those functions.

Primary Responsibilities



Client:



Work with client on operational / co-ordination issues Drive the development of appropriate public relations strategies and social media programs to support the objectives and goals of the client. Keep client programs on schedule and ensure all deadlines are met. Structure long term plans and program recommendations for clients. Proactively manage client problems quickly and adeptly. Demonstrate a well- developed knowledge of client relevant business and generate ideas for media outreach and pitch efforts Correspond and update the client on media related issues and media activations. Keeping abreast of new trends in social media and new media outlets Handle media interviews and events (roundtables, press conferences..etc)

Team Participation



Serve as a role model to team members Actively participate in agency development processes Balance workload between accounts and account staff to ensure that all work is accurate and completed within established deadlines Continually communicate with manager Delegate work to interns, Account Coordinators and Assistant Account Executives (as needed) Informally adds feedback to performance review of colleagues as needed Talk intelligently about agency at internal and external meeting and industry functions Attend agency staff meetings and group meetings

Qualifications



Education



Bachelor’s Degree Mass Communication, Journalism, AUC graduate (preferable)

Professional Experience



3 years related professional experience. Agency experience is a plus.
