IT Governance Specialist

Opportunity to work closely with executive leadership on high impact projects.|Must have strong experience in governance and regulatory requirements.About Our ClientWell - established and highly successful organisation in Abu Dhabi, competing at an international scale, looking for an experienced IT Governance professional to join their dynamic team.Job DescriptionDevelop and deploy IT governance strategies and frameworks, such as trust resilience framework and decision-making authority framework.Lead the creation, implementation, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and standards to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to industry best practices, including certifications like ITIL, TOGAF, COBIT, ISO, etc.Offer guidance and assistance to senior management and stakeholders regarding IT governance issues, including risk management, compliance, and performance monitoring.Assess and audit existing IT governance processes and controls to gauge effectiveness, and propose enhancements.Collaborate with various teams to integrate IT governance principles seamlessly into business processes and decision-making.Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in IT governance, and adjust strategies and frameworks accordingly.Act as a subject matter expert on IT governance matters, providing training and awareness initiatives to promote organizational understanding and adoptionThe Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
