Accounts Payable (Temp)

Our client is a global network of Engineering Service Solutions providing maintenance for power generation, desalination, and water pumping plants. They are looking to hire a talented Accountant Payable for a 1-month temporary contract.To provide the necessary accounting and finance support within the finance department, supporting regional business growth. The Accounts Payable (Temp) will be based in Dubai and have a reporting line to the Accounts Supervisor and Finance Manager for supporting the completion of the management accounts and meeting reporting deadlines.ResponsibilitiesComplete and maintain purchase invoices, reports, and supplier payments on time Reports on creditorsProvide ad-hoc support for any AP-related needs in the KSA business Monthly prepayments Daily bank customer payments and expense payments Cash flow file updates, where requiredSupport in the Year-end audit analysisSet up new suppliers for accounting softwareProvide support in any other areas of the finance team where necessary and appropriateQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Management, or any relevant educationAt least 3 to 5 years experience in accounts payable in the UAEFluency in Tagalog Language is preferredStrong knowledge of general accounting proceduresproactive individual focused on system and reporting improvementsPayroll experience is a plusExperience in preparation of balance sheet accountsKnowledgeable of relevant accounting software; Sage 50 would be desirableAccounting-related certification ie ACCA is an advantage but not a mustProficient in data entry and managementJob Location: Jebel Ali, Dubai - There is a bus service from IBN Battuta Metro Station to the office. Timings: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm (with 30mins lunchbreak) | Fridays 8am to 2pm (No lunchbreak)
