It is a hybrid position.As a part of the team, you will participate in designing and building our next-generation cloud-based solutions. You will face challenges of performance, scalability, and availability in multi-cloud environments with the newest services and tools.This genuinely unique R&D position puts you in charge of everything in the system and the development cycle.If you embrace dynamic environments, modern programming and have a solid understanding and deep knowledge of technologies and infrastructure - Your place is with us.Responsibilities:Work in a scrum environmentWork at an extremely agile team in dynamic environmentsParticipate in our service development and cloud-based environments within R&DTake part in infrastructure and system designUse the latest technology and manage our high-performance, high-scale infrastructure on top of AWS and Google Cloud resources using multiple 3rd party modern development tools, such as Golang stack, K8s and Elasticsearch Ensure proper security, monitoring, alerting and reporting for our backend servicesWork closely with our product teamRequirements:Have at least 2 years of mastery of at least 2 different server-side programming languages (GoLang is an advantage) - a mustHave significant experience creating and utilizing RESTful API and scalable performance systems - a mustHave experience working in a SaaS companyHave experience in infrastructure tools: K8s, Elasticsearch, Logstash - an advantageHave experience with DevOps practices and technologies such as Terraform and Helm Chart - an advantageHave experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, and Elastic - an advantageHave a deep understanding of cloud architecture and modern system design principles (preferred AWS or GCP) - an advantageHave the ability to take responsibility and work independently with a "can do" attitude and strong interpersonal and communication skillsFirefly is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
