Head of Finance and Accounting Responsibilities: As the Head of Finance and Accounting, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial and accounting functions of the company: Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, in alignment with the overall business objectives, to drive growth and profitability.Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis to the executive team and board of directors.Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws, while staying updated on industry best practices.Lead the annual budgeting process and create financial forecasts, monitoring variances and recommending corrective actions as necessary.Manage and optimize cash flow, including working capital, investments, and debt financing.Oversee a team of finance and accounting professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to promote their growth and development.Coordinate external audits, manage relationships with auditors, and oversee all tax planning and compliance activities.Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy and integrity.Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, including insurance and hedging where necessary.Collaborate with other departments to support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and insights.Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred.CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) certification required.Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.Excellent understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and tax laws.Exceptional leadership and team management skills.Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office suite, and Salesforce Contact (preferred)Excellent skills in English language.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
