Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
Receive instruction from Design Manager / Mechanical Team Lead and prepare manufacturing drawings for customized non-standard products based on project requirement in accordance with Tender, Specification, Drawing delivery dates etc.
Conduct Design Reviews on each step based on the Design Control Plan received from Project team.
Keep a track and communicate BOM changes to Design Manager / Mechanical Team Lead and relevant project team.
Communicate effectively with the Design Manager / Mechanical Team Lead with regards to some drawing and specification discrepancies to deliver quality drawings.
Complete each Project design on or before estimated date.
Adhere to H&S guidelines and policy of the company while in the factory and at the site.
Print what is necessary and reduce the usage of paper.
Forward the drawing to Design Manager / Mechanical Team Lead to get drawing approval.
Follow up with Design Manager / Mechanical Team Lead for pending inputs and make no assumptions.
Prepare site measurement based on input received from Design Manager.
At project close out
Maintain zero error in design.
Update drawing locations of working and output files properly to Design Manager.
