How You’ll Make An ImpactSupport strategy initiatives for continual improvement of EHS management system. Identify long term strategic action plans.Lead the EHS specialists and technicians within the power plant.Ensure timely elimination of non-conformances.Ensure Implementation of procedures, methods, and tools to optimally deploy the EHS management system.Align with IFC guidelines and lenders requirements, and work towards successful audits conducted by lenders representatives.Implement and follow up for EHS training.Support in preparation of hazard assessments and investigate and prepare accident reports, stipulating measures for prevention of the foregoing.Conducts risk reviews, compliance audits and internal assessment of facilities.Collection, analysis and reporting of EHS MS metricsSupervise developing international and local regulatory requirements and initiatives; analyze potential impacts; provide practical recommendations and risk analyses.Typical duties may change as circumstances decide.What You BringA minimum of 5-8 years experience in occupational health and safety. At least 2 years of experience as an EHS lead or equivalent position, and it is preferable to have experience in electric power generation sector.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in science (Chemistry, Physics, or other relevant field) or in engineering (Electric, mechanical, or relevant subject area).Technical knowledge of health and safety management systems, Emergency Management, Health, and Safety Risk management, HSE Auditing, HSE Regulations Standards and Guidelines, Accident Reporting and Investigation, good Knowledge of using Dashboards and Incident Reporting Platforms, and Permit to Work System - Certified ISO45001, ISO14001, and NEBOSH IGC is required. Certified NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals is preferable.Fluency in English language is required.Leadership skills, Problem-solving techniques, excellent digital literacy including Office packages such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookGood negotiating skills, Presentation and Conflict-resolving skills.Who is Siemens Energy?At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
