OverviewSeeking a diligent, highly organized, result-oriented Specialist- Financial Reporting to join our growing Finance team at G42.The opportunityG42 is an Abu Dhabi based artificial intelligence and cloud computing company with a global footprint delivering holistic and scalable AI solutions to a variety of commercial and government clients. The Group’s business operations cover a wide range of industry verticals including Healthcare, Government, Smart City & Smart Mobility, Oil & Gas, Fintech, Geospatial, Aviation, Cloud Computing, Big Data Analytics and Sports.ResponsibilitiesThe objectives of the role of Specialist - Financial Reporting will be:Financial ReportingAssist in the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.Assist in consolidating financial data from multiple entities or subsidiaries.Contribute to the analysis of financial statements, identifying trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.Support the timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.Compliance and RegulationsStay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements (e.g., SCA reporting for publicly traded companies).Assist in the preparation and filing of required financial reports, such as annual reports, quarterly reports, and tax filings.Collaborate with auditors during external audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.Financial AnalysisAssist in conducting financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.Contribute to the identification of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess financial performance.Provide support in generating insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support business objectives.System and Process Improvements:Provide assistance in evaluating and implementing financial reporting systems or software to enhance efficiency and accuracy.QualificationsEducation: A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is typically required. Professional certifications like a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) are often preferred. Experience: 5-7 years of Experience Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. Experience with financial reporting software and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems is also a key requirement.Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical. The role also requires the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines
