Job Description

Position: Material PlannerJob ObjectiveAs a Material Planner at GHC, you will play a critical role in ensuring the availability of materials and parts necessary to support aircraft maintenance and operation activities. Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently plan, coordinate, and manage the procurement and inventory of aviation materials to support our aviation operations. This position is essential in maintaining our high standards of safety, compliance, and operational efficiency while fostering efficient management and collaboration between various departments; Part 145 Engineering, CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization), MRO (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul), outstations, commercial, and business development departments.Key Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesDescriptionCoordinate closely with Part 145 CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management), MRO (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul), outstations, commercial, and business development departments to align procurement with operational needs and business strategies.Foster efficient collaboration with the MRO and Part 145 departments to ensure that materials are readily available for scheduled maintenance tasks.Collaborate with Part 145 Engineering, CAMO, and MRO to align demand forecasts with aircraft and main assembly maintenance schedules.Support AOG conditions and guide procurement analysts and officers according to operational priorities.Prepare and provide periodic metrics and KPI regarding material availability and shortages for the schedule and unscheduled requirements.Maintain accurate inventory records and track the movement of materials to prevent stock outs and overstock situations.Analyze historical consumption data and work closely with maintenance and operations teams to forecast material needs.Develop and maintain demand forecasts for various aviation components.Key Performance IndicatorsAD/ASB circulation - Average number of days consumed to complete the AD/ASB circulation.Non-mandatory maintenance data circulation - Average number of days consumed to complete the Non-mandatory maintenance data circulation.Non-mandatory maintenance data back log - Percentage of completed data circulation.Component repair management worked at GHC MRO - Number of components ordered on AOG basis by GHC MRO.Component repair management worked at 3rd party - Number of components ordered on AOG basis from external repair stations.Number of maintenance tasks extensions - Number of extensions requested due to inability to plan maintenance tasks.Completed unbudgeted significant maintenance events - Number of successfully accommodated significant unbudgeted maintenance tasks.Qualifications: Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Experience as a Procurement Analyst, Buyer or in a similar role within procurement.Experience:Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in aviation industry Job-Specific Skills:Experience in procurement for similar sized aviation organization within a related strong planning and management skillsCommand of EnglishGood awareness of Organization's operations including projects and initiativesUnderstanding of Just-in-Time management and inventory controlPlease be reminded that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
