Software Engineering Delivery Manager

Position:Software Engineering Delivery ManagerJob Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineering Delivery Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and software delivery management. The candidate also will have strong experience Managing, leading, and motivating teams of talented software engineers.ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee a team of highly motivated, skillful software developers.Manage the agile delivery of complex software products.Develop and implement plans and timelines.Track project progress and identify and mitigate risks.Lead and motivate cross-functional software engineering teams.Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their requirements are understood and addressed.Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.Manage stakeholder expectations, negotiate project scope changes, and resolve conflicts.People management activities, like setting SMART goals, performance evaluation, identifying training plans, and fostering a positive work environment.Work closely with Architecture and Security teams for the best technical alignment on functional and nonfunctional deliveries.Skills And QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.10+ years of experience in Software development.2+ years of experience in Software development management and/or Software delivery management role with a significant portion of prior experience in Java development, software engineering, and software engineering teams' leadershipProficiency in developing and managing applications using Spring Boot, MySQL, Oracle, Solr, Redshift, and Angular, with a deep understanding of their integration and optimization for high-performance and secure enterprise solutions.Proven experience in leading software development teams using agile methodologies, with a strong focus on facilitating sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups to ensure efficient and effective execution.Excellent communication and collaboration skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsLocation:EG-Cairo, Egypt (Al Emdad & Al Tamween)Time Type:Full timeJob Category:Information Technology
