We always reach for more.#InchcapeShippingServicesBusiness Need / Purpose of RoleThe Operations Executive reporting to the Operation Supervisor based out of Dubai, UAE shall primarily be responsible for complete coordination of all operational matters related to Launch vessel Operations and Crew Matters with the clients, ports in order to accomplish speedy turnaround of vessels. The job holder shall handle the day-to-day company operations excellence of dealing with any eventuality and providing comprehensive array of services to its customers.Objectives & Measurement – Key Responsibilities Ensure adequate submission of ARAMCO CV packages and prompt arrangement of crew transfer as required for vessel in KSA. Check and verify crew qualifications and documents prior joining. Arrange crew recruitment, mobilization, sign-on vessel, monitor onboard performance, sign off and repatriation formalities. Ensure absolute compliance with the pre-joining, post joining and off signing formalities as per company requirements. Create, update and archive crew personal files and records on share drive on a timely basis. Verify and validate crew documents against company requirements and Government regulations (Local authority, flag, class, etc.). Monitor and execute effective crew changes for company’s vessel and managed vessels in a timely manner. Preparation of employment contract to be signed by local crewing manager or local based manager. Manage the coordination with preferred manning agencies according to the set requirements and procedures. Support and assist the crewing manager in the management of crew staff and compliance with regulatory requirements governing company’s vessel. Plan, organize and manage the day-to-day crewing personnel functions in compliance with HR policies and procedure. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Competent user of the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Being able to communicate verbally/writing in a clear and concise manner. Balance multiple tasks, changing priorities & operate within a deadline-oriented environment. Good interpersonal relationship in managing people/sub-ordinates, planning, organizing. Excellent customer management skill. Self-driven, organized, good communication skills. Strong presentation with excellent analytical thinking skills Communication and building rapport with all kinds of people. Authentic (doing the right thing even when no one is looking) Have a global perspective and be progressive thinking. Education, Qualifications, Certifications, And Licenses A relevant degree with marine operations background 3 years’ experience in similar role Knowledge of shipping and port operations is desirable. Understanding of projects such as ADNOC / QATARGAS / SAIPEM / NPCC / BOSKALIS would be added advantage. Basic knowledge of visa handling (UAE & KSA) formalities. UAE driving license would be an advantage.
