The position will closely work with our functional Heads within the software, QA and product teams to deliver scalable and customisable release pipelines.Responsibilities:Distributed systems architecture – understand and manage the most complex systemsContinual reliability and performance optimisation – enhancing observability stack to improve proactive detection and resolution of issuesEmploying cutting-edge methods and technologies, continually refining existing tools to enhance performance and drive advancements. Problem solving capabilities – troubleshooting complex issues and proactively reducing toil through automationExperience in technical leadership and setting technical direction for engineering projectsCollaboration skills – working across teams to drive change and provide guidanceTechnical expertise – depth skills and ability to act as subject matter expert in one or more of: IAAC, observability, coding, reliability, debugging, system designCapacity planning – effectively forecasting demand and react to changesAnalyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resourcesIncident response – rapidly detecting and resolving critical incidents. Minimizing customer impact through effective collaboration, escalation (including periodic on-call shifts) and postmortems. Requirements6+ year experience in Systems Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles running large-scale infrastructure, cloud, or web servicesStrong background in Linux/Unix Administration and network conceptsSolid AWS or other cloud provider and Kubernetes/docker knowledge and experience. Experience in operating CI/CD pipelines that build and deliver services on the cloud and on-premiseWork with CI/CD tools/services like Jenkins/GitHub-Actions/ArgoCD etc Experience with configuration management tools either Ansible, Chef, Puppet or equivalent Infrastructure As Code - TerraformRelational databases and SQLCoding with one or more of the following: Java, Python, Go, Ruby etc. Motivated and self-driven - Find problems to solve. Solve them. Bonus MultiCloud experience OCI and GCPNB.
