Job Summary:The Procurement Engineer for Design Consultancy Services is responsible for managing the procurement of consultancy services related to design and engineering for construction projectsKey Responsibilities:This role involves identifying and selecting consultants, negotiating contracts and the ability to manage multiple projectsDevelop and implement procurement strategies for design consultancy services, including architectural, structural, civil and other engineering consultancy servicesWork closely with design and engineering teams to align procurement activities with project requirements and schedulesManage contracts for design consultancy services, thorough and accurate documentation of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders and performance recordsIdentify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in the procurement of design consultancy services.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management.
Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, PMP) are a plus.Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on design consultancy services for construction projectsStrong negotiation and contract management skills.Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, e-sourcing platforms).Knowledge of construction design principles, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
